ABOUT MAX QUINN
BACKGROUND
With solid experience of taking projects from inception to launch and scale, working from research and ideation right through to high-fidelity designs and animation, I’m a versatile designer fit for any stage of a project.
During three years at Ve Interactive, at the time the UK’s fastest growing tech company (Times Tech Track) and one of the country’s few unicorns, I honed UX/UI processes and skills in a fast-paced environment. Quickly rising to a senior position in a design team of 18, I led teams and projects, mentored designers and tackled the problems of scale.
Moving to InMotion Ventures in 2015, I became the sole digital designer at Jaguar Land Rover’s start-up accelerator and venture capital unit. Working in small teams reporting directly to the MD, I helped launch four companies, having a hand in defining their market fit and strategy as well as implementing design while learning invaluable business skills. I was also a consultant to other start-ups, leading workshops and defining their product and design strategy.
Now freelancing, my experience working both as a lone designer and in a large team lends me to a range of tasks. I'm most at home leading full process design projects that allow me autonomy to utilise business knowledge and product expertise while still getting my hands dirty in the nuts and bolts of digital design.
